This is my year on film: my favorite frames from twelve rolls of film. I take pictures to frame my memories. The camera collects moments I might otherwise forget, in places I cherish, full of feelings that rush back when I reflect on each image.
Details that I never noticed before today, details that I love: the blur of a seagull in the bright blue sky, between the chimneys in the courtyard of our airbnb on North Castle Street in St Andrews; the glint of the gold wedding band on Matt’s left hand during a board game marathon.
I don’t know if it matters to me whether or not these are considered art, but I like them, and I like sharing them with you all.
